Gene Matras is an artist whose pen & ink drawings have been winning
awards for almost 20 years. Gene was born in Poland in 1951 and emigrated
in 1960 with his parents and brothers to Machester, New Hampshire.
His forest home provides inspiration for much of his work, and his
travels throughout New England are the source of many of his subjects
- trees, mountains, wildlife and rural life.
Gene's prints are produced from the original by an offset lithography
process in limited editions, numbered and signed by the artist.
